Charming 3 bedroom cottage for rent on Lac Gauvreau. The cottage is located only 30 minutes from Ottawa’s Byward market and minutes from historical Wakefield village. Due to its close proximity, many guests choose to stay the entire week and commute to work Monday to Friday.

Lac Gauvreau is located in the township of Masham, La Peche, Quebec. The touristic town of La Peche is located in the heart of the Gatineau Hills and Park region. Close to all amenities, their cottage offers visitors a heap of activities within close proximity, such as golfing, cave exploring, bungee jumping, zip lining, horseback riding, and a water park. Pick up your groceries and meat for the barbeque at a locally owned grocery and butcher shop, a town favourite only a 5 minute drive from the cottage.

The fully equipped cottage sleeps 6 adults comfortably and is ideal for 3 couples or an entire family. Two of the three bedrooms have double beds and the third room has a set of twin bunk beds. The swimming is great with a choice of swimming from the sandy beach area, to jumping off the large cedar dock.

For the avid fisherman, the lake is full of large bass. They have been very successful fishing right off the dock. The dock has a built in live well which doubles as a built in beer cooler when not in use. Cottage rental includes access to both a canoe and two sit on top kayaks. Access to two additional kayaks can be made available for access to a total of 4 kayaks. The cottage is extremely private and is one of a very few unique properties on the lake that offers such privacy. With over 150 feet of waterfront and a private creek locating on the property itself, this cottage property is a must see.
