Appliances and furnishings: Fully furnished with television, DVD and stereo. Cellular service is available in the area. Kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (with filters), pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. Linens and pillows are also supplied.
Camp Dav Ed is located on pristine Lake Dubourne 15 minutes (6–7
miles) north of Blind River, Ontario. Blind River is a friendly
northern community of 3,600 situated roughly halve way between
Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie.
The living/dining room opens to a large sundeck at the front and
screened porch at the side. Both provide excellent views of the lake
and allow you to enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather or
bugs.
There is room for two in the double bed on the main floor and the
kids can enjoy their own play and sleep space in the loft where
there are two single beds and a pull out sofa.
There is an excellent sandy beach which is shallow for quite some
distance before dropping off into deeper swimming water – very safe
for children.
Fish for Walleye, Pike, Bass and Lake Trout or enjoy water sports in
and on the crystal clear waters.
Patio and lawn furniture and a picnic table are provided for outdoor
use.
There is a fire pit at the beach for campfires and marshmallow
roasts.
A propane barbeque is available for outdoor cooking.
Pets are welcome.
Dining, grocery shopping, liquor and beer stores, two pharmacies and
a hospital are all located in town.
While in town, be sure to check out the “Championship” 18 hole golf
course, the Logging Memorial and Museum, the Marina, Boom Camp and
many other attractions.
Explore the many biking and hiking trails or boat the many
waterways.
Camp Dav Ed makes for an unforgettable vacation experience.
