The cottage is in the village, on its own point of land overlooking the harbour with its activities on one side and the village on the other. There are about 300 to 400 people in the village.
The master bedroom in this cottage has a queen-sized bed, a dresser and a night table. The second bedroom has a new set of bunk beds, with the bottom being a double and the top a single.
There is a newly paneled dining room with views of the ocean. There is a small deck right outside the dining room, and a longer covered deck along the road side of the cottage. The cottage is spacious, with lots of seating, a television with satellite reception and a DVD player. The heating in all rooms is by baseboard heaters.
Hickman's Harbour is on Random Island and can be driven to.
There is lots to see by foot in the town, and there is a

is Terra Nova Provincial Park, and north one hour is
the historic town of Trinity. A little further on is Bonavista, both offer a wide selection of restaurants and a
multitude of activities.
