Appliances and furnishings:  six appliances all stainless steel including microwave, washer and dryer, all amenities, two fireplaces, 42 inch plasma TV with satellite dish, CD player, radio, paddle boat, barbeque, patio furniture, horseshoe pit, fire-pit, two queen beds, three double beds, pull-out couch (new mattresses in 2007).  Linens are included as part of our linen and cleaning service ( Mandatory for all guests)

Cottage on a Golden Pond is newly renovated with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and a new washer and dryer.  The cottage also features a deck with a breath-taking view of Farlain Lake.  There is over 2,000 square feet of comfort and luxury, with a family room on each floor.  This cottage is on beautiful Farlain Lake, just ten minutes from Midland and Georgian Bay. It is fantastic for families with small children and the water is warmer than Georgian Bay.  Spend the day in the shallow water and relaxing on the sandy beach area.  Awenda Provincial Park is located three minutes away.  If you looking for a first class cottage, On the Golden Pond may be for you.

Cottage on a Golden Pond is located just 30 minutes from three ski resorts, Blue Mountain, Horseshoe Valley and Mount St. Louis. There are also lots of snowmobile trails nearby.  The town of Midland is nine kilometers away and has shops and a hospital.

Waterfront:  Sandy beach, with a shallow entry on calm, Farlain Lake.

Availability:  Year-round.  Call for availability.

Check-out:  4:00 PM

Pricing

$1800 per week June 1st -22nd and September.
$2800 per week June 23rd thru September 8th.
$1500 per week October to May.
$350 per night plus $150 for each additional night during fall, spring and winter with a two night minimum.
Holiday Weekends have a premium.
Maid service for all guests is required ($120.00) includes linen and cottage cleaning.
Security deposits are required for all guests.
