Location:  Huron Sands, Lake Huron, near Goderich, Ontario.

Appliances and furnishings:  stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, two electric fry pans, television, satellite, VCR, CD stereo, phone, gas barbeque and fire pit.

This cottage features large windows facing a beautiful view of the lake. There is a covered veranda and large patio with picnic table. The guest house by the water has one bedroom, sitting room and sun deck, which is a beautiful spot to view the beach, sunset and night skies. Rock garden in the rear yard. The cottage interior is tastefully decorated, with cedar walls and ceilings, and carpet throughout. Efficient U-shaped kitchen. The bathroom has small tub and hand shower.

Twenty kilometres away is Goderich which is a lively, thriving centre, built around a central hub featuring supermarkets, many major chain stores, LCBO & beer store, restaurants, marina, museum, beaches, parks & playgrounds; a large fitness centre and nine hole golf course. Point Clarke is 12 km. north and Kincardine is another 18 km. There is a very good 18 hole golf course (Sunset) about 6 km. north of Goderich.

The cottage sits about 30 feet above the water level in a very private, quiet setting with many trees, no cottages behind and a ravine to the north. This is a great spot for small children to play in the sand. You can walk the beach both north & south for many miles.

Pillows and blankets supplied, please bring your own sheets & towels.

The master bedroom has twin beds. One bedroom has a double bed and one bedroom has twin-size bunks. The guesthouse has one double bed.

Limitations - Septic system, 10 gallon electric water heater. Stairways to parking and beach. No dishwasher or laundry facilities. Garbage to be delivered to a locked box. Although there are beds for eight, the dining table and septic system make 6 occupants a maximum number.

No smoking or pets.

Waterfront:  Large sandy beach.  Safe municipal water system.
