Appliances and furnishings: refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster oven, two televisions, two VCR's, phone (anywhere in North America), AM/FM stereo, barbeque, woodstove (winter use only for all you snowmobilers), Muskoka chairs (eight), sunbathing chairs (two), large eight-person picnic table with umbrella, pool table. Bring your own linens and blankets, towels and pillows, beer, food, dish soap, toilet paper and anything else you might need.
This Hassard Lake cottage is a beautiful winterized home with four bedrooms. There is one queen-size and three double beds. It also has one double-size futon. This is a large and spacious home that is right on the lakefront. The lakefront is shallow with a sandy beach for the kids to play in. It is a gradual slope, ideal for children. There is also a large raft that you can swim out to and dive off. There is a dock, but there is no diving off it as it is too shallow!
The cottage has a large television/VCR in the living room and a television / vcr in the master bedroom. It has a ping pong table, pool table and dart board in the basement. (paddles, balls and darts, pool cues included) There is also a large walkout deck, where you can do your barbequing while you watch the kids playing badminton or horseshoes in the huge backyard. (rackets, birdies and horseshoes included) There is a spacious four piece bathroom. There is also a fire pit that is perfect for toasting marshmallows. Wood is not included, but can be purchased at the town store.
The cottage also comes with a fishing boat with a 9.9hp, two canoes, and a paddle boat, for your enjoyment. Life jackets are provided and must be worn! Fishing is excellent since the location the Magnetawan River system has roughly eight miles of accessible river. Monster Bass and Pike have been pulled out!
The cottage is located at the end of a dead end road. It is very peaceful and quiet with very little car or boat traffic. This is a quiet family retreat and not a party spot!
Pets are allowed. No smoking.
