Appliances and furnishings: fully equipped kitchen with newer refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, percolator, popcorn machine, all dishes, utensils, pots and pans; comfortably furnished living room with satellite television, VCR, DVD player, CD player, and telephone; propane barbecue and picnic table with umbrella on 10’ x 25’ fully enclosed rear deck; large backyard with wooden swing set, toddler slide, wired bunkie, and fire pit; one parents’ bedroom with a double bed; a larger room that contains one single bed that converts to double as well as a youth bed and high end mini-crib; a third very small bedroom with a 30” wide single bed (all beds with newer mattresses, mattress covers, blankets and pillows), and two makeshift beds in the bunkie.
Lovely three-bedroom cottage with view of water and fabulous sunsets. Large decks front and back. High sand dune hill to rear of property captures evening breezes from the bay and sends them back to the house for natural air conditioning. Brand new bathroom with soaker tub built in 2007. New high efficiency windows throughout. The cottage sits on one third of an acre in a quiet location across from a gorgeous, clean, white fine sand beach with shallow water perfect for children -- very much like Wasaga but not as wide and nowhere near as busy. The access path to the water is directly across from the north property line. The beach is very private, since the area is largely populated by year-round residents and the nearest public parking is quite a ways down the road.
The cottage is located 10 minutes from Elmvale, which has all amenities and the wonderful Emvale Jungle Zoo. Wasaga Beach is about 12 minutes away and Midland is a 15 minute drive -- both have Superstores and numerous attractions, and Midland has a hospital.
Waterfront: Directly across the road from water and beach access path.
Availability: June to October -- weekly rentals only from Canada Day to Labour Day.
Check-in: Saturday at 3:00 PM.
Check-out: Saturday at 12:00 PM.
