Appliances and furnishings: stove – convection oven, two ovens and thermal stove, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery, pots and pans, dishes, linens, bedding, barbeque on front deck. Cottage has cedar paneling inside, oak hardwood floors, with massive stone fireplace. Lots of outdoor furniture, plus a fire pit at the edge of the water. Large private lot with parking for 3 to 4 (plus) vehicles.
Georgina Island “Executive Retreat” Cottage is 45 minutes north of Toronto. Georgina Island is situated in Lake Simcoe. A car ferry will transport you from the mainland at the Virginia Beach Marina to Georgina Island. Very private island cottage for the discriminating guest. Oak hardwood floors and ceramic tiles throughout the main level. The kitchen has 3 ovens, one a convection oven, microwave, two dishwashers, two toasters, two sinks, and a fridge. Absolutely fabulous gourmet kitchen, which easily accommodates many cooks. The living room has a wood-burning peninsula stone fireplace, which extends through the upper floor family loft.
Georgina Retreat has 3 bedrooms plus an oversized family room loft. The master bedroom located on the main floor has a queen-sized bed. There are nine beds altogether with plenty of room for blow up mattresses in the family room loft. The upstairs loft has ‘extra’ thick padding underfoot. The guest bath and master bathroom is located on the main floor and another full bathroom is upstairs. The mudroom / laundry room has washer and dryer and is located by the side door, driveway entrance, with an outdoor clothesline for your use.
The mainland features five local golf courses, restaurants, Red Barn Theatre, “Canada’s Oldest Summer Theatre”, Georgina Pioneer Village, antique shops, regular and drive-in theatres, Sibbald Point Provincial Park. On the island you will find the Georgina Island Craft Store, Georgina Camp Grounds and Island Convenience Store.
The waterfront is sheltered from heavy waves in summer for fishing and water skiing. Other properties available. Summer activities include hiking, trails, horseback riding, swimming boating. In the wintertime you can enjoy ice fishing, ski-dooing, cross-country skiing, and skating. Fish hut rentals and professional guides are available.

Waterfront: Shallow and sandy with private 32-foot dock. 12-foot fishing boat with small motor at $50 per day or $300 per week (Pleasure Craft Operator Card required).
